Senior Account Manager, Enterprise

Bentley Systems is looking for a dynamic Senior Account Manager (Enterprise), German speaker to lead strategic accounts across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The role focuses on infrastructure owners, operators, Tier 1 contractors, and consultants delivering major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain long‑term relationships at all levels, including C‑level within key accounts.
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact partner for all account communications.
  • Determine sales strategy and value propositions, negotiate and implement approved contracts.
  • Develop Go‑to‑Market (GTM) strategies, account plans, and innovative prospecting plans to exceed annual sales revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and success.
  • Utilize Gap Selling to maximize value for users and prospects.
  • Proactively develop proposals focused on digital twin acceptance and value recognition.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, forecast business weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Bentley solutions and industry workflows.
  • Adhere to the Bentley Sales Process (BSP) and document all activities in the CRM.
  • Attend national and regional trade shows, conferences, and industry events as needed.
Qualifications
  • Native‑level fluency in German (C2) and strong proficiency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • 7‑10 years of enterprise‑level sales experience selling technical enterprise software.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or relevant work experience.
  • Track record working with government organizations is desired.
  • Experience selling infrastructure software solutions such as CAD or CDE is desirable.
  • Experience with Bentley solutions or direct competitive offerings is highly desired.
