External Sales Representative Western Europe
Location:
Belgium, Netherlands, Germany (Travel Required)
Job Summary:
Fluoroseal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced External Sales Representative professional to support the development of our market across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. This autonomous, field-based role is responsible for driving business growth, identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with both new and existing clients, and closing sales within the valves industry. The position requires independent work, with direct reporting to the EMEA Sales Manager and close collaboration with an internal sales team located in another country.
- Client and Distributor Acquisition:
Identify and target new clients and distributors to expand Fluoroseal’s market presence in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. - Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients and distributors to support business growth and ensure customer satisfaction. - Sales Closing:
Negotiate terms and agreements to close sales, aligning solutions with customer needs and Fluoroseal’s objectives. - Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
Conduct competitor analysis and monitor market trends, providing insights to the internal team to maintain a competitive position. - Travel:
Travel regularly within the designated territory to meet with clients, distributors, and prospects, strengthening relationships and facilitating face-to-face negotiations. - Collaboration:
Work closely with the internal sales team based abroad to ensure effective communication and coordination across sales activities. - Customer-Centric Approach:
Maintain a strong focus on customer needs, providing tailored solutions and responding promptly and professionally to inquiries. - Autonomous Field Work:
Independently manage schedules, client visits, industry event participation, and trade show attendance to support market development.
- Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development in industrial valves or related products. - Languages:
Fluent in Dutch, German, Flemish, and English (spoken and written). - Industry
Experience:
Proven experience in sales or business development within the valves industry, with solid understanding of plug valves. - Travel:
Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. - Organizational
Skills:
Strong organizational abilities with capacity to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and tasks effectively. - Customer-Focused:
Demonstrated customer orientation with commitment to long-term relationship building and excellent service. - Collaborative Teamwork:
Ability to collaborate effectively with an internal sales team located abroad, ensuring alignment on strategy and objectives. - Technical Knowledge:
Basic technical understanding of plug valves and their applications; experience providing technical sales support is an advantage. - Sales
Skills:
Strong negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills with a proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
