Business Development Representative – Video & Digital Media Babcox Media is looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial Business Development Representative who wants to build a career in sales while helping us grow an exciting new area of our business. This isn't a job where you'll spend your day waiting for leads to come to you. Energy, effort and enthusiasm are essential.

We're looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, isn't afraid to pick up the phone or walk into a business and gets energized by finding the next opportunity. You'll identify and develop new customers for Babcox Media's growing portfolio of video, social media and digital marketing solutions, often introducing our capabilities to businesses that may not know us today.

You don't need years of media sales experience. We'll teach you our products, industries and sales process. You need to bring the curiosity, confidence and drive to win. You'll spend time in the market meeting potential customers, learning their businesses and showing them how great video, social and digital content can help them reach more customers and grow. And as you grow, you’ll have opportunities to take on larger accounts, expand territories, and grow into senior sales roles and future leadership positions.

What You'll DoHunt for new business. Identify prospects, make introductions and turn conversations into opportunities.

Build relationships with local and regional businesses through phone, email, social media and face-to-face outreach.

Spend time meeting customers and prospects and learning what makes their businesses successful.

Sell video production, social media content, digital advertising and integrated marketing programs.

Help businesses understand how better content and smarter marketing can strengthen their brands and reach new customers.

Work with our video, content and marketing teams to develop creative solutions to real customer needs.

Use CRM, research and AI tools to find prospects, prepare for meetings and make your outreach more effective.

Build and manage your own sales pipeline from prospecting through close.

Attend industry events, customer meetings, shoots and other opportunities to build relationships and generate business.

Develop professional sales, presentation and negotiation skills.

What Success Looks Like During your first year, you'll learn to build a healthy pipeline through consistent prospecting, turn cold introductions into meetings and opportunities, and confidently present Babcox Media's video, social and digital capabilities.

You'll develop relationships with local and regional businesses, learn to uncover marketing challenges and recommend creative solutions, and become proficient with the CRM, research, social and AI tools that can make you a smarter, more effective salesperson.
