Mattress sales experience is not required. We value consultative sales experience from automotive, wireless, jewelry, furniture, appliances, electronics, power equipment, and other high-consideration retail or service environments.

Guide customers through a consultative sales process by asking questions and understanding their individual needs.

Create a relaxed, educational, and low‑pressure shopping experience.

Build trust and lasting customer relationships.

Work toward individual and store sales goals.

Use tablets, mobile point‑of‑sale systems, and other retail technology.

Maintain an inviting Mattress Warehouse / Sleep Outfitters showroom environment.

Assist customers with loading mattress purchases when needed.

Experience helping customers make high‑consideration purchases.

Background in automotive, wireless, jewelry, furniture, appliances, electronics, power equipment, or similar sales environments.

Strong communication, listening, and relationship‑building skills.

Comfort starting conversations, asking questions, recommending solutions, and working toward sales goals.

Bilingual communication skills are a plus.

Availability to work a full‑time retail schedule across four to five days per week.

Flexibility to work approximately 40-55 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and most holidays.

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, assist with showroom resets, and help customers with purchases.

Comfort learning and using tablets, mobile point‑of‑sale systems, and other retail technology.

A customer‑focused, team‑oriented approach.

Estimated annual earnings for this position are $45,698-$85,987
, with compensation based on the greater of hourly wages or earned commission, plus eligibility for bonuses. Actual earnings may vary based on location, hours worked, sales performance, and commission results.
