Catering & Sales Manager

Concord Hospitality is seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Catering & Sales Manager to generate and book social and corporate events, meeting space, and small guest room blocks. This role is focused on prospecting, selling, and securing business while creating exceptional client experiences throughout the sales process. Once contracted, events will transition to an Event Manager for detailing and execution. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, thrives on building relationships, and has a passion for driving revenue.

A flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends for client engagement and site tours, may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect, solicit, and secure social events, corporate meetings, and small group business to achieve revenue goals.
• Sell meeting and event space along with associated food and beverage opportunities and small guest room blocks.
• Conduct site tours, client meetings, and presentations to showcase the hotel’s event offerings.
• Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community partners to generate new business opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing within established guidelines while maximizing hotel revenue.
• Accurately prepare contracts and turnover information for seamless transition to the Event Management team upon booking.
• Collaborate closely with Event Managers and operational departments to ensure a smooth handoff and exceptional client experience.
• Follow up with past clients and leads to generate repeat and referral business.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and client information in CRM systems.
• Participate in networking events, industry associations, and community outreach efforts to promote the hotel.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel sales, catering sales, event sales, hospitality sales, or a related field.
• Proven ability to generate new business and close sales opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with hotel sales systems and CRM platforms preferred.
• Guest-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
