• Analyst with be responsible for performing extractions and determining extractable materials using various analytical techniques.
• Individual will be responsible for defect and contamination analysis utilizing various laboratory techniques.
• Individual will be able to operate FTIR, Microscopes (Bench top and SEM), GCMS and other analytical equipment.
• As time allows, individual will be cross-trained in our Physical Measurement Laboratory testing paper samples utilizing a variety of specialized equipment.
  
  Individual will be responsible for preparing and testing the samples.
• Once trained in procedures, individual will require minimal supervision and manage work flow in assigned laboratories.
• Must be able to write customer reports on requests.
• Individual will be responsible for proactively monitoring and maintaining laboratory systems and facilitating any outside contractors if needed in these areas.
• Individual must comply with all safety protocols of facility/International paper.

• BS in Chemistry area or equivalent
• Action Oriented, Customer Focus, Interpersonal Skills, Dealing with Ambiguity, Time Management and Organizational Skills
• Detailed work ethic
• Planning – priority setting
