Job Description

As a Security Officer - Hospital Grounds Patrols in Warrensville Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and facility personnel to support a secure environment for all individuals on site.
  • Assist with access control procedures, visitor management, and enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
  • Applicants must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
