Job Overview
Koniag Professional Services LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Security Manager to support KPS and our government customer in Piketon, OH. This role requires expertise in nuclear security programs and the ability to implement and oversee multiple security disciplines while maintaining critical stakeholder relationships. This position offers the opportunity to lead critical security operations in a dynamic environment supporting national security objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all aspects of technical security programs for DOE and DoD operations
- Implement and ensure compliance with DOE security Orders, Policies, and procedures
- Provide expert oversight of nuclear security programs and protocols
- Coordinate personnel security support including background investigations and clearance management
- Manage physical security operations and infrastructure protection
- Oversee information security and cybersecurity support functions
- Conduct and supervise document review processes for security compliance
- Establish and maintain productive working relationships with Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies
- Ensure protection of personnel and government property through comprehensive security planning
- Lead security assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent accredited coursework
- 10 years of DOE or DoD technical security programs experience
- Working expert knowledge of all nuclear security programs
- Personnel security support
- Physical security support
- Information security support
- Cybersecurity support
- Document review support
- Must obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q Clearance
- Experience with DOE security requirements and regulatory environment
- Knowledge of gaseous diffusion technology
- Experience with declassification efforts and processes
- Advanced certifications in security management or related fields
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with law enforcement and government agencies
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of federal security regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to handle sensitive and classified information appropriately
