Location: Wright-Patterson AFB
Duties DUTY 1:
Focal point for NASIC's New Hire Personnel Security Program. Individual is the focal point for security control, dissemination and production of NASIC's New Hire Personnel Security program for SCI affiliation. DUTY 2:
Initiates security clearance and investigative requirements for inbound personnel. Coordinates actions associated with Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Consolidated Adjudications Facility (CAF), base medical, legal, personnel and security entities assuring compliance with Air Force and DoD policy. DUTY 3:
Tracks and notifies NASIC Civilian / Military personnel of clearance records and requirements. Responsible for establishing and maintaining suspense logs and databases for action items relative to personnel clearance status and reporting notifications. DUTY 4:
Customer Service. Advises and provides security information to NASIC personnel POCs regarding investigations, clearance status, reporting responsibilities, cohabitation changes and various timelines for accesses. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Employees and family members requiring medical/dental care in the overseas location are responsible for obtaining/paying for care. Access for these members to military medical/dental treatment facilities is on space-available/reimbursable basis only.
* Position is designated special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
* The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Flexibility with work schedules is mandatory.
* The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments. Qualifications This is a GG-07t11 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-07t11 duties for the "Administrative and Management" work category are at the "Developmental" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-07t11 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the 07t11 grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. EXPERIENCE

Examples of creditable experience include a wide range of technical knowledge and methods to incorporate final assessments for difficult but well precedented projects. The incumbent carries out the assignments, operations and security related procedures that are significantly more difficult and complex.
Knowledge of the rules, procedures, policies and operations that govern SCI security access management are needed in order to correctly process and control access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
