Construction Technician - Midwest - (Pipe fitters, Welders, Electricians, Carpenters, General Construction)

The Construction Technician will provide expert, journeyman-level work in the Commercial Refrigeration industry. Perform construction-type work such as welding, electrical, carpentry, and pipe fitting in their specialized area. This work is performed in new construction and remodeling environments.
Duties And Responsibilities- Use blueprints or design specifications to install HVAC/R systems.
- Install all types of pumps or refrigeration equipment, pneumatic valves, electric valves, heat transfer equipment, ventilation, and air distribution equipment according to prints, specifications, diagrams, or other instructions.
- Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks using electronic meters, pressure gauges, or soap-and-water solution.
- Test electrical circuits or components to determine necessary repairs.
- Connect systems to refrigerator line sets, air ducts, and other components.
- Inspect and maintain customers' refrigeration and EMS systems.
- Maintain high-quality customer service and care.
- Follow company policy on all check-in and check-out procedures with all customers.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety, environmental, government compliance, and project rules.
- Be available and ready to provide service 24/7 based on Climate Pros commitment and service to the company including designated periods of "on-call" status to run emergency calls to serve customers.
