1-Tom-Plumber is a professional, service-focused emergency drain clearing, water damage mitigation and plumbing company providing services to both commercial and residential properties.

• Maintain and develop excellent professional relations with our clients, prospective clients and vendors
• Attend meetings as needed
• Understand specifications, plans and blueprints
• Prepare bid proposals and change orders
• Track, follow up, and review unsold estimates and contract documents
• Support purchasing and field teams in all aspects of project development
• Mentor other plumbers as needed
• Follows health and safety standards and complies with building and plumbing code
• Work with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes
• Prepare and communicate to clarify project scope during and after estimating process

• Applicant must be licensed in Ohio
• Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing products, materials, equipment and installation procedures
• Assess most efficient material, rental equipment, and installation process
• Problem-Solving Skills, Decision-Making Ability, Good Listening Skills, Strong Verbal Communication, Stress- and Time-Management Skills, Customer-Service and Interpersonal Skills, Mechanical and Technical Skills, Physical Stamina and Strength, Excellent Trouble-Shooting Ability

• Wear protection equipment such as hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, safety shoes, high visibility vest and other items as required
• Ability to maintain balance
• Frequent moderate lifting, repetitive motion, bending, walking, climbing ladders, and working from heights
• Occasional heavy lifting, kneeling, stooping, and crouching
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, precipitation, confined spaces, loud conditions, heights and other environments

• Licensed with knowledge of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.
