The Trenchless Sewer Lining Technician is responsible for performing trenchless rehabilitation and pipe restoration services using modern techniques such as pull‑in‑place epoxy liners, spray or brush epoxy coatings, and descaling. This position requires strong problem‑solving skills, hands‑on mechanical ability, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on residential and light commercial projects.

• Conduct pre‑project video inspections to evaluate existing pipe conditions.
• Clean and descale sewer lines using high‑pressure jetting or mechanical cleaning tools.
• Locate and install cleanouts and small access points as needed for trenchless entry.
• Troubleshoot blockages, offsets, and pipe collapses to determine the most effective repair approach.
• Prepare work areas safely and maintain proper job site documentation.
• Perform pull‑in‑place trenchless liner installations with epoxy‑saturated felt or fiberglass liners.
• Apply epoxy coatings using spray or brush systems for smaller diameter or partial line rehabilitation.
• Monitor curing times and verify liner expansion, fit, and finish with precision.
• Operate CCTV inspection cameras and other trenchless tools for verification and quality control.
• Cut and seal liners at manholes or cleanouts using approved sealants and non‑shrink grout.
• Reshape manhole inverts and perform finishing work to ensure proper flow.
• Conduct final video inspections and prepare job completion reports.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles in clean, safe working order.

• 2+ years of experience in plumbing, sewer repair, or trenchless rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of CIPP (Cured‑In‑Place Pipe), pull‑in‑place, or epoxy coating systems.
• Ability to use and maintain CCTV inspection cameras, hydro‑jetters, and pipe cleaning tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Experience with residential and light commercial sewer systems.
• Familiarity with city specifications for sewer rehabilitation projects.
• Basic concrete patching or manhole reshaping experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to job quality.
