As a Water Restoration Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by water damage. Your responsibilities will include assessing water damage, implementing restoration procedures, and ensuring that affected properties are returned to pre‑loss conditions.

• Assessment and Evaluation:
  Conduct thorough assessments of water damage to determine the extent of the damage and the appropriate restoration procedures.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take necessary precautions to mitigate risks.
• Restoration Procedures:
  Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Remove and dispose of damaged materials such as drywall, carpeting, and insulation.
• Clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent mold growth and ensure a safe environment.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  Document all restoration activities, including damage assessments, restoration procedures, and equipment usage. Prepare detailed reports for clients and insurance companies, including photographs and written descriptions of the damage and restoration process.
• Customer Service:
  Communicate effectively with property owners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders throughout the restoration process. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from clients with professionalism and courtesy.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  Maintain and clean restoration equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
