On Trac is hiring a Maintenance Technician 2 – Conveyor Systems
.

Location:

1260 London Groveport Rd, Lockbourne, OH 43137. Pay: $32.00 - $38.00/hr (DOE). Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm.

• Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment to keep operations running smoothly, and respond in a timely manner to all material handling systems breakdowns.
• Maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance to conveyor systems.
• Change and repair parts of conveyor systems; rebuild and align equipment, gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts.
• Use illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including work area cleanup and equipment cleanup; complete other general housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Conduct daily inspections of machinery for potential problems.
• Occasionally be available after hours to ensure MHS (conveyor) systems are working at optimum capacity.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to the Company Safety Program policies and procedures.
• Work independently most of the time, with opportunities to collaborate with other OnTrac maintenance team members as needed.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience and/or training in mechanical and electrical equipment, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Welding experience required.
• Current Driver's License and clean driving record.

• Ability to learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform primary duties.
• Knowledge of Material Handling Systems (MHS), industrial conveyor systems and controls, VFDs, PLCs, electrical motors (480V). Programming, GUI, and/or HMI experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Preventative Maintenance (PMs), and 3-Phase electrical work.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and electrical blueprints; mechanical work experience.
• Industrial electrical knowledge is a plus; welding experience is a plus; knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Flexibility to accommodate 24-hour operations; occasional extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Good time management and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
