MFG, in business for 30 years, is Northeast Ohio’s largest Kubota dealership with other lines such as, TORO, Stihl, and Landpride. Our Middlefield location is currently looking for a service technician to join the team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the field or professional training in the trade with knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical components.
Job Description
Responsible for servicing/repairing equipment & working efficiently to optimize time worked and time billed while maintaining a professional, clean, organized, and safe work area. Employees will own their own general tools. Brand specific & specialty tools will be provided by the company. Technicians will assess and attend to any additional work that equipment may need to run properly and safely while communicating with, and under, the supervision of the service manager.
Duties
* Employees are expected to be punctual in their attendance and arrive at work in proper attire, company provided uniforms
* Maintain clean and organized work area
* Must be able to work in collaboration with service writer/service manager/technicians
* Detailed notes of the scope of work, time, and parts written on each work order
* Assess and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures or issues
* Repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
* Maintain proper tools for work
* Cleaning of equipment may be required prior to performing work
* Work to be performed efficiently and safely

* General xrlwcon Knowledge of Power Equipment
* Diesel Engines
* Gasoline Motors both 4 stroke and 2 stroke
* General Computer Knowledge
* Electrical Diagnostics
