QA​/Automation Engineer; hybrid

For one of our clients, an international technology venture with a world-class team in the area of business application development, we are seeking to recruit a quality assurance / automation engineer.

• you will work with an incredible team of world-class software engineers to ensure the highest quality for a cutting-edge ERP application development platform
• you will have full ownership to set the testing strategy and architecture for the test framework
• you will define the product quality roadmap for products
• you will achieve these goals by working across the engineering, product and design teams to ensure rigorous test planning and comprehensive test coverage
• you will work with the engineering teams to plan, design and develop full test suites including unit, integration and functional tests

• 3+ years of experience in software quality engineering and testing, especially with testing and verification of complex distributed systems
• experience in cloud-native SaaS application and infrastructure development on the public cloud (i.e., AWS, GCP, Azure) with modern frameworks such as Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• cross-functional experience, working with development and product teams to define a product quality roadmap, requirements, and test planning
• experience in complex low-code application development platforms (particularly ERP), accounting or similar is highly desirable
• experience in supporting developers in building test frameworks
• familiarity with common test frameworks
• designing and delivering complex software development projects across multiple teams
• leading a team of engineers throughout full product development cycles to meet test requirements
• excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is an asset)
• experience translating requirements of application onto the data-layer
• strong analytical and debugging troubleshooting skills
• eager to learn and adopt new technologies
• passionate about technical, product quality and reliability
