Senior Backend Engineer​/Data Engineer

Overview

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our products and driving the development of scalable and robust backend/data systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with and interest in overall system architecture, be an expert in backend design, and bring some hands-on experience in data engineering and Dev Ops.

The building blocks of our team/company backend stack are:
Go, Python, Kotlin, Mongo

DB, Kafka, Kubernetes, Click House, and Dagster. If you do not know/do not have experience with some of these - we would still love to receive your application.

• Responsible for improving and developing our RESTful web services and Data Platform

• You work iteratively, frequently pushing code, maintaining an efficient CI/CD pipeline, and automating where possible
• Embrace "you build it, you run it":
  Take full ownership of your code beyond just pushing to the repository. This means monitoring deployments in production, building dashboards, configuring alerts, writing clear documentation, and owning your domain from the code all the way through to the Kubernetes namespace where it runs

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Passion about the things you build and want to make a difference
• You strive for knowledge-sharing and moving your team forward
• Experience in Go and Python
• Ideally, you have worked with Mongo
  
  DB, Postgre
  
  SQL, Terraform, Docker before and have an understanding of Data Orchestration, REST and Microservices
• Preferably, you have worked in an agile environment before
• You value quality as well as clean code and learning new things
• Good English communication skills
