Tech-Lead Fullstack Development

Overview

For our team in Munich we are looking for a Tech-Lead Fullstack Development (m/f/d).

Syneco was founded in 1999 as an energy service provider for the Thüga Group and is the largest municipal energy trading company in Germany. In the context of digitalizing our company and our customers, we are looking for ambitious and motivated people to join our developer teams. Our focus is on developing modular applications on innovative customer platforms, based on the latest tools & technologies.

• As part of a great agile team, you will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle - from conception and design through to coding, code reviews, testing and delivery.
• You’ll work closely with product owners and software architects to translate business and technical requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
• In your dual role as Developer and Tech Lead, you balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities.
• You guide and mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• You take ownership of system reliability, performance, and security, ensuring long-term maintainability and scalability.
• You act as a technical point of contact and contribute to strategic technology decisions across teams and projects.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in agile full-stack development and technical leadership
• Proven expertise in designing and building scalable backend and frontend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, RESTful APIs, and relational databases
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes preferred)
• Strong understanding of software architecture, microservices, automated testing and agile development practices
• Excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Flexible working hours, mobile working (3 days per week) and onsite in our office in Munich (2 days per week)
