As our Staff Engineer, you’ll set the technical direction, lead cross‑domain initiatives, and build scalable systems to drive real business impact. The following will be your main tasks:
- Designing and running scalable, cloud‑native systems using modern modular patterns.
- Coordinating technical planning across domains and teams.
- Leading initiatives that improve reliability, performance, and observability.
- Setting engineering standards and support technical growth across teams.
- Coaching other engineers and fostering a learning culture.
- Optimising performance and scalability in critical services.
- Troubleshooting and resolving system issues in development and production.
- Contributing to AI‑enabled products through strong backend practices.
You’ll work with tools like AWS, Terraform, Rabbit
MQ, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Our backend stack includes Kotlin, Spring Boot, Postgre
SQL, Redis, and Docker.
- You have 10+ years of professional experience in backend development
, with deep experience in Kotlin or Java
. - You have in-depth knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, Web Sockets, Postgre
SQL, and CI/CD workflows
. - You have experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and infrastructure as code.
- You are experienced with event‑driven architecture.
- You have a proactive approach to leadership and mentoring
. - You show the ability to align engineering work with business and product goals.
- Our company language is English
