Your MissionWe are building the future of 5G connectivity in space. As part of Aerospacelab, you will design, implement, and deploy 5G protocol stack components tailored for Non-Terrestrial Networks. You will work alongside experienced engineers to help bring high-performance wireless communication over satellite links to life.

Duties- Design, implement and validate 5G gNB L2/L3 features according to 3
GPP specifications - Develop Aerospacelab-specific enhancements
- Build performance tests, unit tests, logging, and support infrastructure to ensure software quality
- Deploy and validate software in lab and field environments, including satellite link emulation and hardware-in-the-loop systems
- Academic or practical experience in telecommunications, embedded systems, or software engineering
- Familiarity with 3
GPP 5G specifications and protocol stack concepts - Programming skills in C/C++ or Rust
- Eagerness to learn, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset
- Experience with DPDK for high-throughput data processing
- Experience in embedded software development
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot low-level system performance bottlenecks
- Exposure to 5G stack development
- Interest in satellite communications and NTN systems
