Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in software development.
The Digital Services Development Engineer will be responsible for the architecture design, software development, and verification testing of in-vehicle digital services. This role involves designing and delivering software solutions that interface with multiple cross-domain electronic systems within automotive platforms.
Digital services include software-based vehicle features that may communicate with external servers and support Over-the-Air (OTA) updates and maintenance. The engineer is expected to leverage their experience to develop innovative and robust solutions to complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Perform software requirements analysis, architectural design, and detailed software design.
- Develop and implement software using hand-coded or auto-generated methods.
- Conduct software verification and validation, including unit, integration, and qualification testing.
- Execute static code analysis and unit testing using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and compliance.
- Support software deployment, maintenance, and OTA update strategies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the software lifecycle.
- C++ (Required)
- Python (Preferred)
- Ability to create and interpret software requirements and architectural designs.
- Software development using C++ with tools such as VS Code, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar environments.
- Experience with static code analysis and unit testing (Parasoft C++test, Google Test, or equivalent).
- Experience with software integration and qualification testing.
- Familiarity with UML modeling using Enterprise Architect or similar tools.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Git and Git Hub for version control.

- QNX Software Development Platform (SDP)
- VECTOR tools: CANoe / CANape
- OTA update mechanisms
- CAN communication protocols
- MQTT
- Wire Shark
- AWS cloud-based software development environments
- JIRA and Share Point
- Software Engineer with strong system-level knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Strong background in automotive embedded or digital services software
