- Pay structure based on hours, miles, cases, and stops.

- Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre‑ and post‑trip; submit DOT inspection reports.
- Verify bill of lading, store keys, and ensure delivery accuracy during off‑hour deliveries.
- Drive tractor‑trailer to destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
- Maintain driver logs (Manual or Peoplenet) per DOT regulations; document deliveries, product temperatures, and exceptions.
- Unload trailers and deliver products to customer premises.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screening, per applicable laws.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
- Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk‑rating qualifications.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‐related tasks safely and effectively.
