• Average annual pay $90,000–$95,000; top drivers earn $100,000+.
• Pay structure based on hours, miles, cases, and stops.

• Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre‑ and post‑trip; submit DOT inspection reports.
• Verify bill of lading, store keys, and ensure delivery accuracy during off‑hour deliveries.
• Drive tractor‑trailer to destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
• Maintain driver logs (Manual or Peoplenet) per DOT regulations; document deliveries, product temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unload trailers and deliver products to customer premises.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screening, per applicable laws.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk‑rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‐related tasks safely and effectively.
