Shipping Clerk​/Forwarding Agent

As an important interface between our production and our customers, you will be responsible for handling transport by our external partners. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing and handling national and international shipping orders
• Preparing all necessary accompanying documents and registering and managing transport service providers
• Import and export processing in compliance with legal regulations
• Preparing and processing customs documents
• Planning and coordinating the flow of goods
• Acting as a contact person for customers, transport and logistics service providers and internal departments
• Supporting the management of pallet accounts
• Freight cost control and billing
• Ensuring compliance with applicable customs, foreign trade and logistics regulations
• Creating and processing requirements for long-term supplier declarations
• Promoting improvements and simplifications in recurring processes using the ERP system
• You have completed vocational training as a freight forwarding agent (m/f/d) or commercial training (e.g. office clerk) with experience in shipping/freight forwarding
• You have already gained practical experience in your profession
• You are proficient in shipping processing on a PC (delivery notes/shipping documents)
• You have good organisational skills
• You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
• You are experienced in communicating with customers and service providers
