Truck Driver CDL A OTR

Position Description

We have an opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Dalton, OH. Call Crystal or Text "Dalton" to .

• Solo Miles Pay $0.63 per Mile with 1,900 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay $30.01 per Stop with 5–6 Stops per Week
• Safety Bonus up to $250 per Quarter
• Loyalty Bonus $2,000 at 6 months and $2,000 at 1 year
• Paid Training

• Deliver OTR SOLO to Lower 48 States
• Tractor Type newer sleeper with APUs and inverters
• Trailer Type Conestoga 48' and 53'
• Must have OTR Experience

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test and background check with verification from previous employers for last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A experience in a tractor‑trailer: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in past 5 years OR 5 years in past 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

• Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detecting and eliminating safety hazards and maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
