Position Summary
New River Electricalislookingforaqualified Truck Driver (Transportation Specialist) skilledintransportation.Inthisroleyouwillgetthechancetojoinagrowing Fleet&Facilitiesteamandestablishalastingcareerinadynamicandinnovativeworkenvironment.
New River Electricalhasestablisheditselfasthetrustedelectricalcontractorforcoast -to-coastelectricalconstruction.
Asthe Truck Driver ,youwillsupportthe
Fleet&Facilitiesfunction.
Workinginafieldenvironmentontheroadyouwillload,deliver,andrecoverequipment,materials,andtoolsfromvariouslocations(rural,urbanandsuburban) incompliance with
DOT regulations.
Youwillalsoneedtotroubleshootandidentifyissueswithyourvehiclepartneringwiththe Road Mechanicteamasneeded .Thisrolereportstothe Shop Foreman .
Duties/Responsibilities
- Usingcompanytrucks,ensureontimeandsafedeliveryandrecoveryofcompanyequipment,toolsandmaterialstovariouslocations.
- Performthoroughdiagnosticsonvehiclestoidentifyissuesaccuratelyinpartnershipwiththe Road Mechanicteam .
- Executebasicrepairsandmaintenanceonvariousautomotivesystemsasneeded.
- Loadavarietyofequipmentontrailersincompliancewith
DOTspecifications. - Maintain accurate
CDLlogsandrecordkeepingreportingissuesasneededtothe Shop Foreman . - Troubleshootandmakeminorrepairstoequipmentonsite.
- Ensurecompliancewithall Stateand Local Transportationlaws .
- Accurateelectronictimesheetsubmissionincludingthesubmissionofweeklyexpenses.
- Performequipmentreportingandrepairorders.
- Othertaskasrequestedby Shop Foreman .
- Travelforthispositionisat

Qualifications
- H.Sor Technical Schooldegreeplushandsonexperienceintransportation .
- Abilitytoperformbasiccomponentsofautomotiverepairandproactivemaintenance.
- Musthaveaclass
ACDLand Medical Certificateandbementallyandphysicallyfittooperatea Class AVehicle. - Mustuptodateandknowledgeablewithregulationandcomplianceof
DOT. - Musthavetheabilitytoworkindoorandoutdoorinvariouselementsandweatherconditions.
- Musthaveknowledgeofavarietyofequipmentandloadingspecifications.
- Mustpossessavalid Drivers License ,Medical Card,andprefera
Class
BorACDL. - Demonstratedcompetencyindevelopingandmaintaininginternalteamrelationships.
- Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
- Basicanalyticalandproblem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suiteorrelatedsoftware .
- Exhibitthehighestlevelofbusinessethicsandconsistentlyadheretoandpromote New Riversvaluesandbeliefs .
