Responsibilities- Oversee all materials within the company, including ordering, receiving, tracking, moving, and storing of materials.
- Receive incoming inventory and supply items, log them into the warehouse system, and stock inventory in the proper location.
- Read work orders, shipping orders, or follow verbal instructions.
- Fill customer invoices.
- Check part numbers, clean, and pack inventory items.
- Inspect inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage.
- Notify the Warehouse Manager of any problems.
- Follow all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipment.
- Track all inventory in the appropriate system.
- Organize and clean warehouse space and company equipment as needed.
- Report any customer problems or concerns immediately.
- Coach fellow associates on operational practices, procedures, equipment operation, and safety procedures when needed.
- Enforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations.
- Evaluate current processes and procedures, and recommend changes to warehouse management.
- Contribute ideas on ways to reduce warehouse cost per unit and increase productivity.
- Maintain working knowledge of the warehouse data system and perform various tasks within the system.
- When requested, deliver supplies and equipment in a timely fashion, while observing all Regulated DOT and OSHA standards.
- Properly maintain records as required by management in the appropriate warehouse information system.
- Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
- Skilled at solving hard problems with a hands‑on approach.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience.
- Able to walk or stand long hours, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds routinely, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Forklift operating experience (Forklift Certification is a plus).
- Proficient with personal computers and software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Oracle, and web‑based tools.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
