Warehouse Manager — Food Manufacturing
An established food manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping across multiple shifts. This role offers the opportunity to develop a strong team, improve warehouse performance, and keep daily operations running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse Supervisors, Team Leads, and warehouse employees.
- Oversee inbound receiving, product storage, inventory accuracy, and outbound shipping.
- Coordinate staffing, schedules, and workflow across shifts to meet production and shipping needs.
- Maintain workplace safety, food safety, and company operating standards.
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and employee retention.
- Monitor productivity, control overtime, and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
- Oversee forklift maintenance and related spending.
- Partner with Production, Transportation, Quality Assurance, and other departments to resolve issues and keep operations on track.
What You Bring
- Previous warehouse management or leadership experience, including oversight of multiple shifts.
- Strong knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
- Experience developing employees and holding teams accountable.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- A hands-on approach to leadership and continuous improvement.
- Food manufacturing, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- $70,000–$80,000 annual salary, based on experience.
- Full benefits package.
