What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop and execute independent lead generation strategies to identify high‑value prospects
  • Track and report on initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth
  • Foster collaboration with cross‑functional departments to develop territory‑specific sales plans
  • Support the Commercial organization to improve the sales cycle time
  • Update the CRM system to reflect accurate opportunities and pipeline
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field; equivalent industry experience is acceptable
  • 0-1+ years of experience in inside sales or business development roles, preferably in academic, life sciences, or biotechnology industries
  • Proficiency in following established sales methodologies and navigating the sales cycle
  • Outstanding relationship‑building, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM databases
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in NGS sales
  • Familiarity with using Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Proven successful sales experience with a technical product line
