Overview

In addition to its two Seminole Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos, the Seminole Tribe owns and operates the five Seminole Casinos: in Coconut Creek and Hollywood, on the Southeast coast near Immokalee, on the Brighton Reservation north of Lake Okeechobee, and on the Big Cypress Reservation south of Lake Okeechobee. The Seminole Tribe has long been recognized for innovation in its gaming and other businesses, operating one of the most profitable gaming enterprises in the world.

The Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino features a casino of nearly 38,000 square feet, 640 slot machines, 18 tables for blackjack, craps, roulette and other house-banked card games, and high‑stakes bingo action, along with a smoke‑free gaming space.

Responsibilities

The Beverage Server will serve both alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages to guests throughout the property, ensuring a positive guest experience.

Essential Job Functions
  • Take guest orders, serve drinks and collect monies in a courteous and efficient manner. Adhere to cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction in assigned areas and other areas if necessary.
  • Adhere to state liquor laws and TIPS training guidelines.
  • Keep bar and service area clean, sanitary and organized at all times.
  • Adhere to beverage control procedures.
  • Adhere to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discretely notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Promote positive guest and team member relations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is required, as well as a certificate in Mixology.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in high‑volume bartending. T.I.P.S. certification and Sanitation certification are preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills specific to job responsibilities are required, including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide as needed.
  • Ability to deliver a service level that creates an atmosphere that makes guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
  • Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm and outgoing personality, while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Work Environment
  • May be exposed to casino‑related environmental factors, including second‑hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • The job frequently requires standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking and lifting up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The casino environment is hectic, fast‑paced and often crowded and noisy.
Closing

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American tribes who meet the job requirements.
