Location: Outskirts of Okehampton
Contract: Long-term supply (with potential to go permanent)
Pay: 169- 328 per day (in line with Teacher Pay Scales, dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:20am-4:30pm

Timeplan Education is seeking a skilled, dedicated SEN Teacher to deliver PSHE and Humanities within a specialist trauma-informed school setting. This long-term supply role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing, inclusive environment and may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
The school provides high-quality education and pastoral care for primary and secondary pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and trauma-based needs
. Having worked closely with the school for a number of years, we can confidently say that supply teachers feel welcomed, supported by the SLT, and able to build meaningful and positive relationships with learners

- Teaching PSHE and Humanities across the secondary setting.
- Planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons for pupils with diverse learning needs.
- Supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of pupils with complex SEN.
- Full-time position: 8:20am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.
- Long-term placement with realistic potential for a permanent contract.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong, proven experience working with SEN pupils
, particularly in specialist or therapeutic settings. - Experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills

- Ability to deliver trauma-informed, adaptive, and nurturing teaching approaches.
- Competitive daily pay between 169 and 328
