FS Sales Manager

• Leading a field based team of Financial Advisers across the South West
• Coaching, developing, motivating 11 FAs to achieve their sales targets

This role would suit an experienced Financial Services Professional who has experience of successfully leading remote field based sales teams. You may have worked as a Financial Advisor before and enjoy using your knowledge to develop the potential in others. Or you may have face to face sales leadership gained in another area of Financial Services.

NFU Mutual offer a unique proposition and loyal client base. On average our FA’s work very closely with 2-3 NFUM Agencies and develop deep relationships and have access to their clients via a warm introduction.

Your overall objective will be to deliver maximum profitable growth from the range of NFU Mutual products through the effective management and development of a competent and fully utilised sales team, maintaining effective relationships with Agents, the Customer Services function, partners and our target customers.

This is a highly varied role as you will be delegating from the Regional operational plan, developing Marketing campaigns, supporting strategic planning as well as monitoring the quality of Advice Standards and Sales Quality.

As a role model for your team, you will also be leading relationship development with both the Agency community in the SW and the NFU themselves. You will also be ensuring the activities undertaken adhere to the regulatory expectations of a Certified role.

Currently working in Financial Services and with experience of sales leadership, your track record of success in a regulated environment will make you a highly credible candidate. We expect you to be suitably qualified to QCF Level 4 or equivalent and you must also have;

• Experience of leading and motivating a geographically diverse team.
• Strong knowledge/understanding of the compliance framework.
• Proven success in a Financial Services environment.
• UK driving licence and be happy to travel

This role is subject to certification. Certification applies to key roles within the organisation that meet set criteria defined by our regulators.

Certification is an internal process undertaken in line with regulatory requirements that is to be in place on appointment and annually thereafter.

A person who manages or supervises a Certified employee.

This role is responsible for the management of certified employees, and as such is held to the same standard of accountability. The inclusion of this role in the certification hierarchy ensures a clear chain of accountability between the managed certified employees and the Senior Manager ultimately responsible for that area.
