We are seeking a highly motivated Permanent Transportation Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about designing and improving transportation engineering and is eager to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Design highways, roads, develop, and implement transportation engineering projects,, and other related structures.
• Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD and Micro Station to create detailed designing, planning, and overseeing construction and maintenance of transportation infrastructure including highways, bridges, tunnels, rail, airports, projects, ports and mass transit systems.
• Conduct studies to determine traffic conditions and analyses to evaluate the most feasible traffic flow and safety improvements, and develop solutions taking into account factors such as travel time, intersections and roadway geometry.
• Prepare technical cost, safety, and sustainability reports, proposals.
• Utilizing design software like AutoCAD and Micro Station to create detailed plans and to communicate project blueprints and progress.
• Collaborate with managers, engineers, architects and project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within specified timelines.
• Ensure all designs and projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards and timeline.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Micro Station and relevant design software.
• A valid driver’s license and readiness to travel as needed for project work.
• Experience coordinating with highway design contractors and construction teams.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the design, site development, and traffic engineering.

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Excellent project management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Micro Station, and engineering design tools.
• Extensive knowledge of highway and roadway design, site development, and traffic engineering.
