• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, answering questions, informing about promotions, and recommending complementary products.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges, including online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments for services and support execution of in-store events.
• Stay informed of new and existing products and services; be knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Create an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests.
• Share benefits of the guest loyalty program and Ulta Beauty app.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business.
• Participate in ongoing training for brand and category education.
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to the dress code.
• Maintain assigned area replenishment, signage, and product availability.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area.
• Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, displays, inventory procedures, and processing/unloading shipments.
• Follow loss prevention practices and provide exceptional guest service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma preferred.

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

• Passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., POS system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shift.
• Continuous and/or frequent lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 25 lbs. during shift.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift.
