Overview

Insurance Agent (Base salary + Uncapped commissions) - Comparion Insurance Agency, Okemos, MI. In-office position requiring a strong local network and in-person relationship building in the community.

• Build and leverage a strong local network and in-person relationships in the community.
• Represent a range of Auto, Home, and Life products from top national and regional carriers.

The base pay range is $55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr. Typical total first year compensation ranges from $55k - $75k, with uncapped commissions and potential for top performers to earn over $100k in the first year. • Previous employment in a sales role where you have successfully turned prospects into customers.
• A state insurance license—or willingness to earn one with training and support—in Property & Casualty, and Life.

• Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Persuasion and negotiation skills
• Interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with prospective and existing customers
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines
• Familiarity with finding, building and growing leads and customer base

This is an in-office role in Okemos, MI. You will be expected to develop a strong local network and engage with the community to meet client needs.
