Java Full Stack Developer; Angular

Position Summary

Datamaxis is seeking an experienced, highly technical, and accomplished Java Full Stack Developer (Angular) to join our client team on a long-term contract basis for onsite deployment in Okemos, MI or Farmington Hills, MI. In this specialized full-stack software engineering role, you will spearhead designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise web applications utilizing Core Java, Spring Boot, and modern Angular frameworks.

You will work closely with cross-functional software architects, database administrators, and QA teams to build robust REST APIs, optimize Oracle database queries, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions. Ideal candidates bring a strong academic background in computer science or software engineering, deep practical mastery of Java EE and Type Script ecosystems, and immediate availability for long-term onsite work in Michigan.

As a Java Full Stack Developer (Angular) at Datamaxis in Okemos, MI or Farmington Hills, MI, you will take full ownership of developing end-to-end features for mission-critical enterprise applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass building responsive user interfaces with Angular, Type Script, and Node.js, engineering robust backend services using Core Java, Java EE, and Spring Boot, and developing secure RESTful APIs via Jersey frameworks.

You will write optimized SQL and PL/SQL queries to interact with enterprise Oracle Database instances, participate in internal screening and rigorous onsite client interviews, and collaborate within Agile sprint squads. Working in a fast-paced corporate environment, you will troubleshoot production defects, perform code reviews, and ensure strict adherence to software engineering best practices.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust enterprise web applications using Core Java, Java EE, and Spring Boot.
• Build dynamic, responsive front-end user interfaces utilizing Angular, Type Script, and Node.js.
• Develop and consume secure RESTful web services and APIs using Jersey and modern integration standards.
• Write highly optimized SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models for Oracle Database environments.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional software engineers, product managers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software defects across front-end, backend, and database layers.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, API specifications, component libraries, and unit test coverage.
• Ensure strict adherence to enterprise security baselines, coding standards, and project delivery deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience specializing in full-stack Java technologies.
• Strong programming proficiency in Core Java, Java EE, and the Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on professional expertise building modern single-page applications using Angular, Type Script, and Node.js.
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services using Jersey or similar frameworks.
• Solid practical working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database management systems, specifically Oracle Database.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and cross-functional communication capabilities.
• Professional availability for long-term contract employment on-site in Okemos, MI or Farmington Hills, MI.
