Franchise Accountant I

Express Employment International invites a Franchise Accountant I to join our Oklahoma City‑based corporate office. The role focuses on accurate, timely preparation of monthly Statements of Accounts for franchise partners across US, Canada, and ANZ offices, while supporting franchisees with ad‑hoc reports, reimbursements, and invoices.

• Preparation and payment of commission statements for US, Canada, and ANZ offices.
• Balancing payroll weekly, preparing reconciliations on GL accounts, and assisting other team members with weekly duties.
• Perform functions related to servicing Franchisees as needed, including preparing rundowns, resale reviews, WOTC error reports, emails, and phone calls.
• Provide support to current and former Franchisees concerning Commission & Reserve statements.
• Invoice and collect funds from Founder offices for various expenses paid on their behalf and process new Franchisee Advertising reimbursements.
• Assist other departments as needed (e.g., Accounts Receivable and Workers’ Comp).

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent education preferred.
• 0‑2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Internship or related experience a plus.

• Working knowledge of general office procedures.
• Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, procedures, codes, and classifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Windows‑based computer systems.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Ability to learn franchise accounting processes under guidance.
