The Auditor III plays a critical role within the Program Integrity and Accountability Division of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA). This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive audits to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations while promoting the integrity and efficiency of Medicaid programs.
Principal Activities- Assist in establishing audit objectives, methodology, and procedures.
- Complete audit work for audits.
- Manage audit activities for timely completion.
- Obtain, analyze, and appraise evidentiary data for informed opinions.
- Prepare notifications and audit reports.
- Ensure thorough, objective, and well‑documented audits.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring Program Integrity initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or public administration.
- Two years of qualifying experience in professional auditing or accounting.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience (substituting one year of paraprofessional auditing or accounting experience for each year of the required education).
- Strong knowledge of agency policies, state and federal regulations, and auditing principles.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed recommendations.
- Effective communication, critical thinking, and organizational coordination across divisions.

- Experience with DHS and OHS auditing and/or systems.
