Ready to take the next step in your tax career? We're partnering with a well-established Oklahoma City employer to identify a Senior Sales Tax Accountant to join their corporate Tax Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with sales and use tax experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across multiple jurisdictions.
What You'll Do- Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns
- Assist with unclaimed property reporting and compliance
- Manage and support multi-state sales and use tax audits
- Communicate directly with state and local taxing authorities
- Prepare and assist with various business tax filings
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-3 years of sales and use tax compliance experience, preferably in a multi-state environment
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Pay Details$55,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
