Billing Specialist

Pay: $22-25/HR

• Prepare, review, and process customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Verify billing information, pricing, and supporting documentation before invoices are issued.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, account adjustments, and customer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate billing records and update customer account information.
• Monitor billing activity and assist with payment tracking and follow-up as needed.
• Reconcile billing records and assist with month-end reporting.
• Collaborate with accounts receivable, sales, operations, and other departments to ensure accurate billing.
• Process credits, adjustments, and rebills as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy and streamline processes.

• Previous billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting or billing software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to research discrepancies and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with high-volume billing or industry-specific billing processes is a plus.
