Retail Fuel Coordinator

Welcome to Love's! Our Fuel Accounting team is seeking a Retail Fuel Coordinator. This role involves analyzing and auditing fuel purchases and sales by loads nationwide to ensure accuracy and completeness. Communicate with other departments, stores, third-party suppliers, and customers to obtain information necessary to verify data on fuel loads. Balance fuel inventory by product and location.

• Review trends to make informed decisions in order to balance fuel inventory.
• Review load detail in accounting systems and verify accuracy based on paperwork.
• Audit and distribute reports.
• Communicate with various internal departments and external contacts to obtain all necessary detail needed to ensure data on fuel loads is accurate.
• Work cross-functionally with the freight and margin teams to ensure data is accurate.
• Research and complete requests from emails or specified system reports
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
• Requires direct supervision on all range of duties and assignments.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Some college preferred
• 0-1 years of related experience
• Accounting, accounts payable or inventory experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Right Angle and/or Fuel Smart experience is a plus
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
  • Strong analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
