Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing financial services organization to identify a Staff Accountant

• Maintain general ledger, financial records, and supporting documentation
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close processes
• Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist with audit requests and financial reporting needs
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards
• Partner with accounting leadership on ad hoc projects and process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 0–3 years of experience (internship experience welcomed)
• CPA eligible or pursuing is a plus
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
