Payroll Specialist

• Process biweekly or weekly payroll for 300–500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Review and verify timecards, hours worked, overtime, PTO, and other payroll adjustments.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and update changes related to pay, deductions, and direct deposit information.
• Calculate and process payroll deductions, taxes, garnishments, and other with holdings.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Reconcile payroll reports and assist with payroll-related journal entries and month-end processes.
• Ensure payroll records and processes comply with applicable federal and state regulations.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end payroll reporting, including W-2s.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate employee information and payroll processing.

• Previous hands-on payroll processing experience, preferably supporting 300–500 employees.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, overtime, and payroll compliance.
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, UKG, Workday, or similar platforms.
• Strong Excel, data entry, and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential employee information.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
