Bachelor's in Accounting OR Finance/business degree with 12 accounting credit hours, 2+ years of related accounting experience, strong GAAP, reconciliations, financial reporting, and journal entry experience, strong Excel and financial systems skills, ability to analyze discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.

Skills & Experience:
SAP experience, CPA or actively pursuing CPA, billing, receivables, reimbursements, or cost allocation experience, utility or regulated-industry experience.
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking an Accountant Staff
- Joint Use for a top utility client. This candidate will support accounting for a contract-driven Joint Use program, focusing on billing, reconciliations, receivables, cost allocation, and financial reporting while ensuring accurate and GAAP-compliant financial records.
Day-to-Day:
Manage accounting activities for Joint Use billing, receivables, reimbursements, and reconciliations, prepare journal entries, invoices, reports, and financial documentation, research discrepancies, balances, credits, and payment activity, support cost allocation, rate validation, reporting, and audits partner with Project Management, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and accounting teams.
