The Loan Document Preparation Specialist supports the lending team by preparing, reviewing, and quality-checking loan documents for consumer and commercial loans. This role ensures compliance with regulations, collaborates with lenders and third parties, and provides guidance on documentation issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review loan documents for new loans, renewals, and modifications
• Ensure compliance with TRID timelines, federal/state regulations, and bank policies
• Work with lenders, title companies, and vendors to gather accurate information
• Review title commitments, construction binders, and supporting documentation
• Manage lien perfection (Deeds of Trust, Mortgages, UCC filings, etc.)
• Create/customize documents in Laser Pro (Finastra)
• Maintain records in loan systems and HMDA reporting tools
• Provide support and guidance to lenders on documentation issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Minimum 2 years of TRID loan document preparation experience (required)
• Experience with Laser Pro (required)
• NMLS registration or ability to obtain (preferred)
• Commercial loan document prep experience (preferred)
• Experience with loan platforms (CSI, nCino, etc.) preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and 10-key
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused
