City Rescue Mission is growing - and we are expanding our team.
As our impact across Oklahoma City continues to grow, we are seeking a Donor Services Coordinator to assist in delivering a best-in-class experience to those who invest in the Mission and those we serve.
About the RoleThe Donor Services Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to City Rescue Mission’s Development team by ensuring timely and accurate gift processing, donor records, and acknowledgments. This role supports strong donor stewardship through accurate data entry, responsive donor communication, and coordination of acknowledgment and welcome processes. The position works closely with the Development team to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Process incoming donations accurately and in a timely manner, including cash, check, online, and in‑kind gifts
- Prepare and manage donor acknowledgments and receipts, including materials requiring President/CEO signature and personalization
- Maintain accurate donor records within the CRM system, following established data standards and procedures
- Responsible for new donor welcome and acknowledgment streams, including preparation, tracking, and implementation
- Assist with donor stewardship preparation, including mailing coordination and administrative support
- Respond to routine donor inquiries and requests with professionalism and care
- Assist with data cleanup, record updates, and basic reporting as assigned
- Support gift processing and donor services workflows during peak giving seasons. Provide administrative and operational support to the Development team as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and handle donor information with discretion
- Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow established processes while meeting deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility, adaptability, and positive, collaborative attitude
- Commitment to the mission and values of City Rescue Mission
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in administrative support, role preferred
- Experience with CRM or donor database systems preferred
- Nonprofit, social services, or public sector experience preferred
- Ability to navigate through indoor and outdoor connecting areas within the City Rescue Mission campus
- Ability to tolerate working at a desk for extended periods
- Ability to tolerate a fast‑paced work environment
- Ability to be flexible in scheduling, including some evening and weekend hours throughout the year
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a high standard of quality services
- Ability to work effectively in a group setting
- Ability to travel within the Oklahoma City area
