Overview
Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to C‑Suite leadership. This role extends beyond traditional administrative duties and serves as a trusted partner to senior executives by managing priorities, supporting people‑focused initiatives, and driving operational and organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced healthcare environment, demonstrates exceptional judgment, and brings a strong understanding of organizational support.
Responsibilities- Manage complex executive calendars, communications, and stakeholder interactions while prioritizing people‑related and organizational needs.
- Coordinate travel, meetings, and events to ensure seamless executive support.
- Prepare executive‑level reports, presentations, and briefing materials for leadership and board review.
- Anticipate executive needs, proactively resolve issues, and remove obstacles to maintain operational efficiency.
- Handle confidential information, records, and expense processing with the highest level of discretion and compliance.
- Support or lead cross‑functional projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and accountability are met.
- Facilitate meetings, develop agendas, track action items, and follow up on next steps.
- 5+ years of experience supporting C‑Suite executives (CEO, COO, CFO, or similar) in a fast‑paced, mid‑to‑large organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience supporting leadership in healthcare, hospice, or high‑growth environments.
- Background in board support or cross‑functional project coordination.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to adapt proactively across all levels of the organization.
