Placement Student- UK Logistics Centre Analyst

We are looking for an enthusiastic Analyst Placement Student to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Corporate/CBS segment in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry. This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2027.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Development of Power BI reporting capabilities. Use of Lean, 5S and Six Sigma to enable continuous improvement activity.
• Use Common processes, tools and information systems to enable quantitative analysis and interpretation of data, ensuring integrity of all data within reports.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and using common diagnostic tools to identify and understand areas for improvement and convert to improvement projects.
• Involvement and support in implementing and potentially leading Projects that optimize operational efficiency.
• Using data analysis to identify potential areas for improvements and quantifying the benefits of various improvement proposals (e.g., VSMs)
• Design, creation and maintenance of robust digital tools to be used by the team and internal stakeholders to increase efficiency and improve operator experience.
  We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards an Analysis/Supply Chain/Logistics/Planning degree.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills required, including Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI knowledge, Machine Learning, SQL would also be beneficial although is not essential.
• Strong analytical skills are required with an ability to think innovatively in order to solve problems.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team with a willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills.
