Construction Inspector

Cowan Group Engineering (CGE) seeks a hard-working and driven Construction Inspector to assist construction engineers in various duties across projects and services provided to clients.

• Assist construction engineers and design engineers with field inspection of current projects in a variety of disciplines to ensure contractor compliance requirements of contract plans and specifications
• Read and understand civil engineering and construction plans, blueprints and maps
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Ability to follow and execute specific instructions independently with minimal supervision

• Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience
• ODOT or OTA construction inspection experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work in office, in the field, and travel as necessary
