SJS Executives, LLC (SJS), also doing business as SJS Industrial, is currently seeking a Drafter supporting construction operations within a local healthcare facility inOklahoma City, OK.

SJS is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with 150 employees coast to coast and a headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia; it specializes in professional services to support federal and military organizations.

The Salary for this position is $35/hr sjs also offers 11 paid federal holidays, 80 hours of PTO accrual, medical, dental, vision, and a variety of additional benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Combine existing site and building As-Builts with new project As-Builts to maintain 1 complete record drawing set.
• Prepare civil-structural plan and detail drawings for above grade support structures and below grade foundation details.
• Work with in-house Drafter to validate and correct existing As-Builts
• Perform drawing and field verifications.
• Implement structural design information from Engineers.
• Ensure projects adhere to the established schedule.
• Read, understand and apply standard to complex documents affecting construction project, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, work letters, project charters, surveys, and drawings.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a college drafting curriculum two (2) year degree minimum.
• At least five (5) years of experience performing drafting for design and construction projects.
• Proficiency in Auto Desk systems including AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Full knowledge of engineering and architectural concepts, principles, and practices for the design, layout, and construction of medical facilities, associated buildings, parking, roadways, and site utilities.
• Experience with ADA compliant construction, remodeling, and renovations
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation; please note the background check for this position extends past 7 years, in conformance with federal law and US Department of Justice guidelines for work on a military installation.
