Kleinfelder's Oklahoma City, OK office is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team.
Kleinfelder’s Oklahoma City Office is looking for a person with strong initiative, who will perform routine to complex testing of construction materials in the field for the purpose of verifying suitability and conformance to industry and construction specifications and to provide design parameters for our Geotechnical Engineering teams.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- following proper procedures
- performing accurate computations using basic to intermediate math including some algebra
- maintaining cordial relationships with co-workers, clients, contractors, etc.
- working with a team in a challenging, fun, and fast paced environment towards a common goal
- having a dynamic work style which includes multi-tasking and being able to quickly shift focus from one task to another when needed
The successful candidate will bring:
- 1-5 years of construction materials testing experience
- Basic to intermediate computer skills with MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook
- Basic to intermediate math skills
- The ability to read and understand a test procedure
- ACI Strength Testing Technician
- ODOT Materials Sampling Technician
- Nuclear Gauge / Troxler / Radiation Safety
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
